I attended Kearney State College, where I received my bachelor's degree, then moved to the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, where I earned a doctorate in D surgery after graduating in Dental Science in 1976. I then went to South Dakota State University and received my doctorate in dentistry in 2009. In 1967, he acquired DDS, attended dental school at the University of Iowa and became a loyal Hawkeye fan. He attended North Carolina A & M University in Chapel Hill, NC for several years, where he earned a doctorate in dental surgery.
Dr. Baller practiced dentistry at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, where he ended his career as co-dental director. He was so successful that he was Schuyler's only full-time dentist until he retired in 2006.
Dave and Micki enjoy travelling to jazz festivals in Colorado and Iowa and have travelled to Denver several times to see the Queen City Jazz Band. He worked as a dentist at Offutt Air Force Base and maintained an airfield friendship with Dr. Baller and his family.
After her certification in 1986, Kim became a dental assistant with advanced functions in 2006 and became one of seven dental assistants in the country who are certified according to CEREC design. In 2001, she received her D-approval as a dental assistant. Kevin attended the University of South Dakota and graduated with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in 2005. They moved back to the Des Moines area after college and were very important to Dave. They cemented a lifelong friendship that was solidified during their time together while attending dental school. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in dentistry and a Master in dentistry.
During her time away from the office, Kim enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending football games for her son's high school football team, the Woodbury Central Go-Go Eagles. She was also a member of the WITCC Dental Assistants Advisory Committee in the 1990s and has lived in West Des Moines for 10 years. In winter she is a trainer for Woodbury's Central Wrestling. When she's not in her office Mallory helps in hospitals and dental practices and reaches out to the community.
Jaime has lived in South Sioux City with her husband and their two children, Jaime Jr. and Jaime III, for more than 20 years.
Jaime was born in Des Moines, IA and moved to Sioux City as a child. He graduated from East High in Sioux City in 2003. She received her bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff and went on to the University of Iowa.
She graduated from Western Iowa Tech University with a B.A. in Dental Dentistry (registered and certified) and is currently completing her advanced training as a dental assistant. After graduation, she began working for Dr. Morgan, where she met her husband Dennis, who was a patient there. She visited and hung up her hat as a dental assistant and after graduating in 1986 began working for Dr. Wheelock and joined his practice in 1987.
In 2000, she graduated from the Dental Assisting Program with a B.A. in Dentistry (registered and certified) and a Master's degree in Dentistry from Iowa State University.
She attended the University of Northern Iowa with a focus on health promotion and was accepted into a program at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo for dental hygiene. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Iowa State University in 1983, where she graduated in Community Health. She earned a Bachelor of Science and attended and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.
After graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program, Emily worked as a dental hygienist at the University of South Dakota for two years before returning to her hometown in August 2009. She received a bachelor's degree in public health from Iowa State University in 1983 and a bachelor's degree in public health from Northern Iowa University.
Sarah joined Wheelock & Associates Dentistry in March 2018 and is loving her new profession. She is dedicated to the dentist profession and takes every opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills through her further education. Dr. Wheelock offers excellent dentistry, is involved in the community, and is an active member of the South Dakota Dental Society and the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce.
Kevin was born in Ogden, Utah, and moved to South Dakota with his family as a young child. After working for Dr. Jerry Smith, he began working at the Winnebago Indian Reservation and directed dentistry at the North Sioux Dental Clinic, which he opened in 1996. He and his wife Gretchen are parents to two children, a son, a swimmer and a daughter-in-law, as well as two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
